Auckland Transport operates a high-trust workplace with people working in multiple locations, using different devices and applications, with a mix of corporate and bring-your-own devices.
A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO POLICY DESIGN
Mobile Mentor was engaged to assist with the development of a mobile policy. Working with key stakeholders, Mobile Mentor interviewed staff across the business functions and produced a mobile policy to suit Auckland Transport’s requirements, including the use of BYOD.
A BALANCE OF INFORMATION SECURITY AND PERSONAL PRIVACY
The resulting policy protected Auckland Transport’s information security, whilst also aligning with the business culture of empowerment and respect for the individual’s privacy.
