“Our strategy is to ensure technology at the backend is streamlined so we can focus on the technology our people use every day. Frontline workers should have technology that is embedded seamlessly into their work practises and gives them more time with their customers.”

– DANIEL PETTMAN: CIO

GETTING MORE VALUE OUT OF MICROSOFT 365

BaptistCare operates in an industry where finding and retaining good people is a real challenge. They wanted to use their Microsoft 365 licences to streamline processes, leverage advance features and deliver an enhanced employee experience.

A VIRTUAL AND COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

Together with our partner Macquarie Telecom we worked closely with Baptistcare to understand the current environment and identify a roadmap for improved security with Microsoft Intune and enhance the employee experience with Office 365. The entire assessment, consultation, drafting and workshops were conducted over Microsoft Teams, sharing screens and using video to its full potential.

ENABLING CARE WORKERS TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH PATIENTS

Security is a high risk in the healthcare industry, and yet BaptistCare knows that careworker experience is also a high priority. The 3-phase recommendations balanced out implementation of security measures with improvements to how careworkers use the technology in Microsoft 365. A roadmap with a series of mini-projects to achieve measurable wins at each step was provided.

“It was good to have so much human engagement. We do a lot of engagements where we gather data and put it through a generic process. It’s nice to have the human experience.”

– MARK HUNTER: IT OPERATIONS MANAGER
