CONSOLIDATION AND CLOUD MIGRATION
The New Zealand Customs Service needed to consolidate services and migrate to the cloud to reduce the costs and overheads of maintaining on-premise infrastructure. They also wanted to leverage their Microsoft 365 E3 licenses and adopt a modern approach to managing their portfolio of devices and supporting their mobile workers.
SECURITY FOR A MOBILE WORKFORCE
Leveraging Microsoft Intune, Office 365 and Conditional Access, NZCS has been able to secure their mobile endpoints and allow them to connect to their email from any location. Intune along with Apple Device Enrolment, provides secure administration and an improved on-boarding experience. Conditional Access and Multi-factor authentication provides dynamic authentication and security to meet the needs of a very mobile workforce. NZCS leveraged the Microsoft Secure Score to understand and improve on their security posture in the cloud.

New Zealand Customs Service chose Mobile Mentor to implement device security via Microsoft Intune. Following a successful project, NZCS selected Mobile Mentor to deliver a managed service to provide security and support for their devices. This includes app management to ensure updates are delivered to business critical apps used by the workforce in the field. The service also includes rapid replacement and restoration of devices to keep their workforce running.
